Bloglines just isn’t cutting it anymore.

Steve posted to law.librarians about maybe ditching Bloglines.

I’m with him on that. I can’t get Manitoba “new cases” feeds from CanLII, and my Slaw feed hasn’t worked in weeks.

So what’ll it be? Google Reader? Anyone got suggestions?

I’s recommend importing your OPML into gReader and Newsgatoer and giving them both a run for a couple of days each to see which suits you best.

I’ve been really frustrated too, although I had thought the problem might have been connected to a Firefox update–time to try a new reader…

I switched over to google reader a while ago.

    Features I love
Being able to search feeds - for that where did I read that…
Easy to share interesting sites/entries with fellow Greader friends.
Very easy to email articles of interest

    Features I loath
Google is taking over the world… damn them for their easy to use smart technology…

I use newsgator and it works well.

Netvibes. I canned Bloglines a little while ago (sadly, but especially after not getting any response from their support folks about some of the ridiculous “new” functionality in their beta) and am soooo happy.

Only thing missing, which Bloglines had as part of their system, is an email this post function (sure, many posts have them as part of the blog you’re reading, but, really, shouldn’t Netvibes have it?).
